Whether you are already interested in film, TV and games, or you haven’t yet discovered the world of opportunities behind the camera — we want to work with you! The Access NFTS: Inspire events are designed to offer a deeper insight and provide skills, knowledge and inspiration for a career within the film, TV and games industry.

Experience: Entry Level - Intermediate | Duration: 5.5 hours | Capacity: 80 per screening | 20 per workshop Cost: FREE

During the screenings. attendees will hear from NFTS students/graduates within a specific career area or role.

Through watching their work and hearing about their journey to where they are now, attendees will not only leave with knowledge and information, useful tips and advice from someone currently working in the industry, but hopefully also feel inspired to pursue a career in this industry themsleves.

After the screenings, workshops are also available. These hands on sessions are designed and delivered by the NFTS students/graduates and will help attendees understand some of the skills and qualities needed for the highlighted career area. All materials will be provided.

When booking tickets you can only book for 1 workshop as they will run simultaneously

Info: This will end the Screenings section of the day. If you book a ticket for one of the afternoon workshop sessions you will need to meet at the relevant venue. . Details will be sent with final confirmation of the event.

Info: In this interactive workshop, participants act as a marketing team for a film, TV show, or game. They will create a project, identify and target the right audience, and develop a social media campaign with teaser posts and hashtags. The workshop covers modern marketing strategies in the creative industry, including the role of social platforms and memes. By the end, attendees will have created a mini marketing campaign, blending audience insights with digital creativity

Info: This workshop explores how composers shape scenes through music. It covers the transformation of simple musical ideas into full scenes and emphasizes an emotional approach to music. Participants will see firsthand how different musical styles can alter the meaning of a short clip, with no musical training necessary.

Info: In this animation workshop, you'll explore a variety of techniques for developing characters and stories, enabling you to express your own unique creative vision more effectively.
