The Academy of Leaders is a semester long leadership development program. The cost to participate is $60.00 for the entire semester. This fee covers the food and transportation for the retreat, materials for the on-campus sessions, and graduation ceremony. We can accept cash or check. Please make all checks out to "Florida International University" with Fall 2026 AOL in the memo line. Please also put your name and Panther ID on all checks. There is also a payment plan option that you can gain information about by coming to the Center for Leadership and Service office in GC 242.

Below you will find the retreat and on-campus session information. These dates are mandatory and will allow you to successfully graduate from the program. The deadline for payment is Tuesday, September 22nd, 2026, at 5pm. This includes all students who are on payment plans as well. There are no refunds for cancellations made after Wednesday, September 23rd, 2026.

Orientation meeting: Wednesday, September 23rd, 6:00pm – 8:00pm GC 243

Weekend Retreat: Friday, October 2nd to Sunday October 4th in Labelle, Florida

On-campus Session 1: Wednesday, October 7th, 6:00pm – 8:00pm inside GC 355

On-campus Session 2: Wednesday, October 21st 6:00pm – 8:00pm inside GC 243

Service Project: Saturday October 24th

Closing Session: Wednesday, October 28th, 6:00pm – 8:00pm inside GC 243
