ACADEMY DAY NYC FEATURING PRACTICE AND A COURTSIDE CHAT WITH GENIE AND ANDREA

Welcome to our 3rd annual ACADEMY DAY - join us for an action-packed, unforgettable day of tennis on the eve of the US Open! The event features a VIP practice and chat over a casual brunch catered by Pura Vida with Andrea Petkovic, tennis luminary, author, broadcaster, and former world #9, along with the former world #5, and fellow broadcaster and bon vivant, Genie Bouchard. The day continues with an afternoon of our signature money dingles tournament, liveball, and a winner takes all One Point Slam.

Everyone gets a t-shirt, and everyone receives a one month subscription to The Inner Game app, a mental performance coach app based on Tim Gallwey’s seminal book The Inner Game of Tennis.

8:30-12:00 Practice and Courtside Chat with Genie and Andrea

In the morning, step onto the court with the legends Andrea and Genie in clinics run by our elite coaches, Joel Myers and Marc Lucero, then join Andrea and Genie for a chalk talk Q&A luncheon where they will share insights on the US Open draw, player mindsets going into Day 1 of a major, and a proper chat about the career and legacy of 2026 Hall of Fame inductee Roger Federer.

•9-10:30AM - 90-Minute clinic with Andrea and Genie floating from court to court giving hands-on personal instruction with a lot of laughs mixed in.

12:30-3:30PM Money dingles, liveball, and a One Point Slam

Back by popular demand, our 3rd annual money dingles tournament returns! The level is high, fair play rules the day, and whoever wins will have earned their pay! It's the baseline team game made famous by Tommy Haas and his buddies that's all the rage. For all of you that have the urge for serious competition with the chance to make some cash, test your level and your fitness in this one afternoon only event.

12:30-3:30PM Liveball sessions and clinics

During dingles, we'll run 90-minute liveball sessions for beginner and intermediate players. This king of the court style game will allow you to break a great sweat, and hit a ton of balls.

3:30-4:30PM One Point Slam

Your Golden Ticket automatically enters you into the one point slam. That's right, one point. Win and you advance. Players with a USTA rating of 4.5+ get one serve, and we will see who can hold their nerve. There will be a cash prize awarded to the winner.
