About this Event
Fifteen years ago, the landmark Affordable Care Act (ACA) was enacted. To commemorate the anniversary, join us on Tuesday, March 25, from 2:00 to 5:30 PM ET for a conference featuring keynote remarks from Speaker Emerita Nancy Pelosi and video remarks from former President Barack Obama, along with other key leaders involved in the ACA’s design, passage, and implementation as we reflect on lessons learned and what they mean for future health reform efforts.
During the half-day event, we will explore the ACA’s expectations, surprises, and results. In addition, new policy leaders and experts will debate the changes still needed in the U.S. health system and how to achieve them. As we look back on the ACA we will envision how to build on progress to inspire the next generation of reform leaders.
The event will include special remarks, panels, and a reception (with light refreshments provided).
Live CART and ASL interpretation will be provided.
The Commonwealth Fund provided support for this conference and issue briefs on its topic.
