Presentation Title
Why the Smartest Businesses are Prioritizing Networking Right Now: Building Real Connections with AI
Presentation Description
In a world where AI and automation are transforming how we work and market our businesses, one thing is becoming more valuable than ever: human connection. That shift is exactly why the smartest businesses are prioritizing networking right now — not in a salesy or transactional way, but as a powerful way to build real relationships that create trust, visibility, and opportunity.
In this practical and engaging session, Sue Kisiday President of SmartWays Marketing Group will share why networking has become such a critical advantage and how to approach it with confidence and clarity. Designed for women business owners and professionals, this talk will cover how to identify the right rooms to be in, start conversations naturally (even if networking feels uncomfortable), and communicate what you do in a way that’s clear, memorable, and authentic.
Attendees will walk away with a simple elevator-pitch framework, easy conversation starters they can use immediately, and a relationship-first approach to networking that feels natural — not forced. The session will be followed by guided speed networking, giving participants the opportunity to practice what they’ve learned in a supportive, low-pressure environment.
Speaker Bio
Sue Kisiday is the President and Founder of SmartWays Marketing Group and brings over 25 years of experience in sales, marketing, and business strategy across private, public, and startup sectors. She works with business owners and executives who have built strong businesses but feel stuck between where they are and where they know they could go.
Sue works with clients one-on-one and through her SmartWays Mastermind Groups, helping them step out of the day-to-day, identify what’s holding the business back, and create a focused, step-by-step roadmap that brings clarity, confidence, and forward momentum. Her masterminds are small, curated communities of women business owners and executives who come together for honest conversation, strategic thinking, and real problem-solving in a supportive, guided environment.
Known for her calm, grounded approach and ability to quickly see what others miss, Sue blends strategy with practical tools so implementation feels clear and manageable — not overwhelming. Clients often describe feeling more confident, focused, and back in control of their business or leadership role.
