Discover the expressive power of oil paint and cold wax medium in this immersive three‑hour workshop designed to help you loosen up and let your florals unfold intuitively. Instead of relying on brushes, you’ll explore mark‑making with palette knives, bowl scrapers, and unconventional tools to build rich layers of color, texture, and depth. Cold wax transforms traditional oil painting into a more tactile, sculptural experience — perfect for creating soft, abstract blooms that emerge through movement, layering, and spontaneity. With guided prompts and plenty of room for personal exploration, you’ll learn how to embrace imperfection, trust your instincts, and develop atmospheric floral compositions that feel dynamic, expressive, and alive.

Our courses are typically held in the lower level of Arlene's.
