Abseiling Millers Dale Bridge The Peak District Derbyshire 18+

Starting at 10:00am - 2:00pm

Please wear appropriate footwear with good grip and ankle protection, and suitable clothing for the weather. Bring plenty of food and drink with you.

Ideally wear clothing that is made from synthetic fibres, which are quick drying and help ‘wick’ moisture away from your skin. Do NOT wear cotton (especially jeans which are not permitted) as cotton soaks up moisture.

What to bring

• Sunhat, sunscreen and sunglasses (spring to early autumn)

• Warm hat and waterproof gloves (early spring, autumn and winter)

• Spare fleece and spare gloves in your rucksack

• Head-torch, and spare batteries (early spring, autumn and winter)

• Wristwatch

• Water bottle (at least 1 litre) and a flask of hot drink

• Snacks / energy snack food (dried fruit, nuts, muesli bars, chocolate bars etc)

• Waterproof bag for your mobile phone.

• Small personal First Aid kit (antiseptic wipes, plasters, paracetamol etc)

• Medications (if applicable)

• Rucksack (to carry all of this in!)

Put everything in a waterproof bag inside your rucksack, preferably a dry bag.

• Walking poles are a good idea on challenging walks
