Please join us for a very interesting talk on white tail deer. Nathan is the state expert on deer.
White-tailed deer are highly adaptable mammals that inhabit all corners of the state and are as common or more common now than at any other time in Maine history. Come join Maine Department of Inland Fisheries and Wildlife deer biologist, Nathan Bieber, to learn about the life of deer through Maine’s four seasons including discussion of the diet of white-tailed deer and how to protect your gardens, how deer are adapted for Maine’s winters, and all about the exciting and fast-approaching breeding season.
