Celebrate Abner Doubleday's birthday at the house where he was born! Skidmore College Professor of Asian Studies Benjamin Bogin will speak about the secret history of the story that Doubleday invented baseball: a tale that connects Ballston Spa and Cooperstown to the Buddhist sages of Tibet through the visions of the Russian mystic, Madame Blavatsky.
Part of the proceeds of every pint sold during the event will be donated to the Ballston Spa Scotties 9U travel baseball team!
