Able Kompanie will be hosting a 85/100/115pt. LW “Trick or Treat” Escalation Tournament on Saturday November 1, 2025 at Family Time Games in Indianapolis (https://shop.family-time-games.com/ )This will be a 3 Round Escalation Tournament. Players will create a legal list at each point level with at least one same Formation in each List from any LW Book (except LW Leviathans). Units in that Formation can change from Round to Round and other Formations, Formation Support or Support Units can change each Round.
Each Round will be 2.5 Hours and Missions will be decided using the FOW Extended Missions Matrix April 2023 Edition https://www.flamesofwar.com/Portals/0/Documents/FOW-Missions.pdf Players will be limited to using any Stance twice during the Tournament
We will try for Red vs. Blue Matchups but that may change if points get unbalanced during the Rounds. Generally, the players with the top scores going into the last round will play each other if they have not played yet.
$20 Entry Fee – to be returned in Store Credit for Best Army, Best Opponent and several random draws.
Here’s the Trick or Treat Part – at the start of each round, all players will draw a slip from the Trick or Treat Bag. Each slip will give the player a “Trick” or a “Treat” for that round. Here is the list of the Tricks and Treats:
Treats
- Player gains a Lucky Card (even if they have one)
- One Armored Unit in your Force gets a +1 to Front Armor
- One Infantry Unit gets to Counterattack in Assault with a -1 to their normal number
- One Artillery Unit gets a 2nd Smoke Bombardment
- Player gets an additional re-roll for their first roll for Reserves
- Player gets their choice from the bucket of Halloween Candy
Tricks
-Your Opponent gains a Lucky Card (even if they have one)
- One Armored Unit in your Force gets a -1 to Front Armor
- One Infantry Unit gets to Counterattack in Assault with a +1 to their normal number
- One Artillery Unit loses its smoke bombardment ability
- Player must re-roll their first successful roll for Reserves – one successful die only
- Player gets a WW2-era creepy Halloween photo.
The Trick or Treat Bag will contain at least one of each based on the number of players signed up.
