Able Kompanie will be hosting a MW Doubles Tournament with a twist. All players will bring a legal 50pt. MW List - No Wildcards & Dynamic Points will be used. Open to all MW books including Pacific. Lists may include Formations and Support but must be a legal list.Team Matchup Process -At the start of each round, all the scorecards will be shuffled and teams will be created by taking one card then another off the top of the pile. If those two players have not played together as yet, they are a team for that round. If they have played together then the second card will be set aside and a new card will be drawn from the top of the pile until someone who has not played with the first player is drawn. Then the process will be repeated for the original second player. This will continue until all teams have been set. This process will be repeated for all three rounds. Players may end up playing against someone they have already faced across the table.but the total matchup should be unique.
Players should expect that teams will include both Allied and Axis Forces.
In the event of an odd number of teams, the last two cards drawn will play against each other as a 1 on 1 game for that round. Chris Fretts will be the TO and will be the Ringer if there is an odd number of players.
Reserves will be based on the 100pt total and can come from the two players in any combination. They do not need to be split evenly between their Forces.
Both players on a team will receive the same Victory Point Score for a round. However, a player's score will be kept individually and these scores will be used for final scoring purposes.
As final scores will be by the individual player, tiebreakers will be # of Wins, Sport Score, Die Roll. Strength of Schedule will not be used.
All rounds will be 2:30hrs to allow time for players to allow for team planning. Time will start once all teams have been set.

2:00-4:30pm Round 2
4:45pm Matchup Process begins
5-7:30pm Round 3
7:30pm Awards and Wrap-up
We need a minimum of 12 players to make the Doubles work with 6 Teams. If we have fewer than that by Sunday August 31, we may change the format.
Entry Fee is $20 and will be returned as Store Credit. Awards will be for Best Army, Best Sport and at least 2 random player draws.
Lists are due by Sunday August 31st.
