Ablaze Vocal Arts Ensemble and Ignite Chamber Choir present their annual winter concert "A Silence Sung: Holiday Mysteries and Traditions". This concert is an exploration of various holiday traditions, both familiar and unconventional. Join us as we explore the mysteries of faith, traditions, and ways of expressing the joy of the holidays that have arisen in various cultures throughout history. Featuring works by Balfour, Gjeilo, Hall, Koontz, Loomer, Wood, and a world première of a new piece by Regina's own Stewart Wilkinson! This concert features performances by violinist David Hopkinson, cellists Alaina Majewski and David Robin, and special guest guitarist Renée Coghill. The choirs are joined by collaborative pianist William Sgrazzutti, and led by Artistic Director Dorianna Holowachuk. Reception to follow.
