Aberystwyth Glow Walk 5km

Join us for our first ever 5km Glow Walk! Taking place along the promenade in Aberystwyth we are inviting walkers to light up the night and help make a difference to the lives of children with life-threatening conditions and their families.

Every participant will receive a light-up headband to walk with and a bespoke medal on return.

Starting at 8.45pm, you will begin your walk just as the sun starts to set across the horizon, giving you a picturesque landscape to enjoy.

The route will will be a 'bar' to 'bar' walk along the promendae with a loop of the castle. As you make your return, the evening will shift to dusk and you will begin to light up the promenade.

Whether you'll be walking with friends, family, or solo, this event is suitable for all ages and abilities and will be fully accesible.

We invite friendly dogs to join you on a lead. Glow gear optional!

Every step you take will help raise crucial funds for Hope House & Tŷ Gobaith Children's Hospices, a charity dedicated to providing compassionate care to children with life-threatening conditions. Your support will help ensure that every child receives the best possible care, and families can find comfort during the most challenging times.
