Join us for an afternoon of music and song as author Stuart Archer talks (and plays!) about his book, 'The Tales Behind the Tunes of Glory'.
Stuart will explore the origins behind many traditional Scottish historical tunes of romance, tragedy, military and remembrance. The talk will feature Stuart playing the bagpipes live as he does many a rendition of the songs he talks about!
This is a FREE event - booking in advance is essential either in-store, or by telephone on 01224 33 33 27. Tickets can also be booked via Eventbrite.
The cafe will be open in advances, so feel free to drop in a little earlier to enjoy some lunch, tea/coffee or some wonderful homemade traybakes!
