Aberdeen Motorcycle Road Safety Roadshow

Our fourth event of the 2026 series arrives in Aberdeen, bringing together Scotland’s leading motorcycle safety professionals to help riders stay safer and better informed.

The session includes:

• Understanding the journey of a claim following a motorcycle collision.
• Demonstration of correct helmet removal.
• Road safety data – trends, risks and contributory factors.
• What riders should expect during a criminal investigation after a crash.
• SMIDSY and the 'Science of Being Seen' explained.
• Advanced riding opportunities with IAM RoadSmart, RoSPA and others.
• Mechanical safety essentials to ensure your motorcycle is road-ready.

Speakers come from Motorcycle Law Scotland, Police Scotland Road Policing, the IAM, Scottish Fire & Rescue Service and Sweco UK. Local dealers and training providers will also be in attendance.
