Together, we’re making the season bright! For 44 years, ABC13 Houston has been partnering with Houston Food Bank and nearby organizations to bring comfort and joy to thousands during our annual Share Your Holidays Food Drive.
What began in 1980 with a single box for employee donations has grown into one of our region’s most important holiday traditions.
We know there are simply too many people without enough nutritious food to eat during the holidays. Join the Baytown Fire Department and the Baytown Professional Firefighters Association in supporting the 44th annual ABC13 Share Your Holidays Food Drive! We’re collecting non-perishable food and household items from 7am to 5pm, Tuesday, Dec. 3rd at Walmart on Garth Rd.
Most-needed items:
○ Water
○ Crackers
○ Granola bars and other protein snacks
○ Canned meat (chicken, tuna, Vienna sausages – pull top preferred)
○ Other canned protein (meat stew with beans or vegetables)
○ Canned pasta (ravioli or pasta with meat sauce)
○ Canned fruit (in 100% juice or syrup)
○ Canned applesauce
○ Canned vegetables (green beans, peas, carrots, spinach and corn)
○ Household items (Toilet paper, paper towels, cleaners)
Can't make it to the event and would still like to donate? Drop your non-perishable items at any of the locations below, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm from now until December 3rd.
