Arts Council Presents Singer/Songwriter Abby PosnerFriday, March 20

Mountain Home, ID — The Mountain Home Arts Council is proud to present award-winning singer/songwriter Abby Posner at The Rock Event Center on Friday, March 20. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the program begins at 7 PM. Tickets are $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and military, and $5 for students, available at the door.
Posner has been a working musician in Los Angeles for more than 18 years. She is known for her ability to play nearly any instrument she can get her hands on while blending and bending genres across folk, roots, electronic, and pop — making her truly “genre fluid.”
If you've seen her live, you know she can deliver a fierce blues guitar solo or a complex Earl Scruggs-style banjo riff. She may also be spotted playing drums, mandolin, or bass — often while using a looping pedal. Her dynamic performance energy has drawn comparisons to Chris Thile of Nickel Creek and The Lumineers.

Winner of the 28th Annual USA Songwriting Competition (2023), Posner will also facilitate a songwriting workshop on Thursday, March 19, at the Mountain Home Public Library. The workshop begins at 6 PM and is open to writers of all experience levels, with a suggested $10 donation.
