We are very excited to welcome Abby Hanlon to Houston to celebrate the paperback release of her book, Dory Fantasmagory: Center of the Universe! Join us in welcoming Abby for a celebration filled with games, crafts, treats, giveaways, a book signing, and a chance to win a grand prize. Don’t miss this unforgettable afternoon of pure Dory fun!

Event Guidelines:

• Each ticket includes entry to the event for ONE adult and TWO children plus ONE paperback copy of Dory Fantasmagory: Center of the Universe. You will be asked how many will attend at checkout.
• You will pick up your book at the event.
• Abby Hanlon will take photos during the signing line at the conclusion of the event. If you attend with a group, there will be a group photo rather than individual ones.
• If you are not feeling well and cannot attend, we will get your book signed for you.
• Your book will be available for you to pick up following the event. If you would like your book shipped, please email [email protected] to coordinate shipping. As a reminder, refunds are available up to 48 hours before the event; you can return your ticket through Eventbrite.
• If you have a disability and require accommodation for this event, please let us know no later than 48 hours before the event by phoning (281) 497-8675 or emailing [email protected].

About the Author:

Abby Hanlon has taught creative writing and first grade in the New York City public school system. Inspired by her students' storytelling and drawings, Abby began to write her own stories for children, and taught herself to draw after not having drawn since childhood. She lives with her husband and two children in Brooklyn.
