Abbott + Big Ten We Give Blood Launch Event @ Rose Bowl Stadium

On August 26, Abbott and the Big Ten will officially launch the next chapter of We Give Blood, the nation’s largest college football blood donation competition, with a free community blood drive and fan event at the Rose Bowl Stadium in Pasadena. 

Building on the success of Years 1 and 2 of the campaign, We Give Blood returns with an expanded effort to unite Big Ten communities around the shared goal of addressing the nation’s critical blood shortage. 

The kickoff event will feature a blood drive from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., a meet-and-greet with influencers Josh & Jase from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m., and exclusive donor incentives, including VIP Rose Bowl Stadium tours. 

Throughout the campaign, fans, students, alumni, and community members will compete to generate the most credited donations, with the winning Big Ten institution earning recognition and a $1 million contribution from Abbott to support student or community health initiatives.
