Art takes center stage this fall as A2 Artoberfest returns to Downtown Ann Arbor October 10–11, bringing nearly 100 talented artists and a weekend full of creativity and celebration.
The Guild of Artists & Artisans (The Guild) is excited to announce the sixth annual A2 Artoberfest Fine Art Fair, taking place Saturday and Sunday, October 10–11, 2026. Stretching along Main Street from William Street to Washington Street in the charming Main Street District, A2 Artoberfest brings together nearly 100 jury-selected artists for a lively weekend celebrating exceptional handmade art, creativity, music, food, and the unmistakable spirit of autumn.
Usually found on Ann and 4th Ave., this year’s event is moving to Main Street due to ongoing construction in its normal location. Executive Director Karen Delhey says, “While we love hosting A2 Artoberfest in the neighborhood where our offices and gallery, Gutman Gallery, is located, we’re excited to embrace a change of scenery this year and bring this celebration to Main Street. With construction impacting our usual event footprint, we saw an opportunity to adapt, try something new, and shine a spotlight on the wonderful restaurants, shops, and local businesses that make Downtown Ann Arbor such a vibrant destination. We’re looking forward to making this year’s A2 Artoberfest a fresh and exciting experience for artists, businesses, and fairgoers alike.”
From stunning jewelry and vibrant paintings to intricate ceramics, luminous glass, photography, fiber art, and more, A2 Artoberfest offers art lovers the chance to meet artists, discover one-of-a-kind treasures, and experience high-quality fine art in a relaxed and intimate setting. A2 Artoberfest features an exciting mix of artists from Michigan and across the country. Featured disciplines include jewelry, ceramics, painting, glass, photography, fiber, and more.
This year’s featured artwork is by artist couple Patti & Mark Mohrenweiser, local Brighton artists known for their encaustic paintings and functional pottery. The 2026 fair will also showcase talented local artists including Paul & Alyse Hurn (Wood; Fenton, MI), and Natalie Liu (Ceramics; Milan, MI), alongside artists from across the country, including sculpture artist Skeeter Aschinger of Pompano Beach, Florida.

Grab a social district drink and sip and shop the wonderful art. Grab a bite from one of the local restaurants, many with patios spilling into the streets. Come for the art. Stay for the music. Make something. Meet an artist. Grab a bite. Sip something delicious. And celebrate the colorful creativity of fall in Downtown Ann Arbor.
For more than 50 years, The Guild of Artists & Artisans has worked to raise community awareness, understanding, and appreciation of the visual arts while providing a vital support network for artists.
