Every 4th Tuesday of the month on the Lyric Hyperion patio
3-4:30PM.

Don’t have the money for a short film? Would love to do standup but aren’t really a “performer,” per se? Making zines is fast, cheap, and easy. And you can write jokes in them!!

Bring art supplies (paper, scissors, glue sticks, etc) or your laptop, learn zine basics, and hang out while we work on our zines. Supplementary supplies will be on hand, too.

Let’s make some analog art!

Meghan Crumley (SILICON VALLEY, BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD) is a a WGA-nominated TV writer and playwright. When the entertainment industry took a hit, she considered some dark options, like taking improv classes. Instead, she decided to do something more productive with her time: make zines. HOW TO MEET A MAN ON THE INTERNET and HOW TO DATE DURING A CRISIS have appeared at San Diego Zinefest, Skylight Books, and The Pop-Hop, as well as coffee shops around Los Angeles. They can even be found on the internet at www.howtomeetaman.xyz. With zines, anything is possible!
