Join PMG’s Young Friends for a walking tour that explores some of South Street’s radical history through the life and work of Isaiah and Julia Zagar. Uncover new stories behind the mosaics you thought you knew. Discover murals you’ve never seen before. Learn about fascinating neighbors, momentous fights, and the waves of creativity that led musicians to call South Street the “hippest street in town.”
We will leave from the Magic Gardens Museum and walk just over half a mile before gathering at Tattooed Moms (530 South Street). Please wear appropriate footwear. In the case of extreme weather, this event will be cancelled.
