A Writer's Life: An Evening with Robin Yocum

Robin Yocum is known for his fiction set in the Ohio River Valley. The son of a West Virginia steelworker, Yocum approaches his writing with the same blue-collar work ethic that he saw everywhere as a youth. “Every man I knew went to work with a hard hat in one hand and a tin lunchbox in the other.” Yocum will discuss his blue-collar roots and how his writing developed in the smoke of the steel mills and the “grit and the grind” of his native Ohio Valley.
