About this Event
Join A Writing Garden for an ongoing weekly one-day writing workshop. We will gather in a small, gentle, safe group to work on original fiction, memoir, and/or poetry. Start something new in class, or bring work-in-progress. Using prompts, we will write in class and share our work. We will also spend time looking at published work to gain further understanding of craft. We will look at what is working in the work, and see where there might be need for improvement, so you leave with new ideas and a plan to keep writing. You can come for one class, or every week. You can even skip a week—just know that you are welcome anytime to write in A Writing Garden.
Indira Ganesan has written three novels, The Journey, Inheritance, and As Sweet as Honey. Born in India, she grew up in St. Louis, MO, and Rockland County, NY. A former Bunting Fellow at Radcliffe, and former Fine Arts Work Center Fellow, she teaches part-time at Emerson College, reviews books for Phi Beta Kappa’s thekeyreporter.org, and is at work on a new novel. She hosts Namaste, a Sunday morning global music program on Cape Cod community radio, WOMR/WFMR, and her website is indiraganesan.com.
