A retreat to help develop and deepen your prayer life with individual support and guidance from a dedicated prayer guide. Prayer guides will listen and help you notice where God is at work in your life. They will offer help with different types of prayer and ways of praying, as well as offer bible passages and other inspirations for prayer.This retreat is offered in daily life, either, online via Zoom, or in person, daily at St Katharine’s Retreat House, Parmoor. It will be led by members of the Chaplaincy Team at St Katharine’s, Parmoor, who are trained spiritual directors.
Online meetings via Zoom;
- An introductory welcome meeting and service, for all retreatants and prayer guides.
- This can either be online, or in person at St Katharine’s.
- 4 online 1:1 sessions (via Zoom) with a trained spiritual director as a prayer guide
- A closing meeting and service for all retreatants and prayer guides. This can either be online, or in person at St Katharine’s.
Cost £ TBC
In person meetings at St Katharine’s Retreat House, Parmoor;

- Retreatants are welcome to tea and coffee and to spend time in the lounge, chapel and grounds in prayer around the time they attend St Katharine’s for their meeting with their prayer guide.
Cost £ TBC
Sessions with a prayer guide will be around 45 mins. Each retreatant is asked to spend an hour a day in personal prayer inspired by the sessions with their prayer guide.
It may be possible, subject to availability, to book a room for personal use for one or more of the days, or if you wish, arrange a residential stay for one or more nights – please contact the office for further details.
