A walk Through Watersong Wild Space with the Native Plant Society

Join us for a special afternoon at Watersong Wildspace as we gather to explore, connect, and begin shaping the future of a newly forming Midland-area Native Plant Society of Texas chapter.

This guided walk around the playa will introduce you to the unique ecology of our region—from native plants to the wildlife they support—while offering a chance to slow down, observe, and learn together in the landscape.

We’ll also take a little time to dream and build: sharing ideas for our new chapter’s name and talking through what it will take to get started, including the need for a treasurer and other founding roles.

Whether you’re a seasoned native plant enthusiast or just curious to learn more, you are warmly welcome.
