The walk will take visitors through the most emblematic places in Prague’s Old Town linked to the mathematician, logician, philosopher, theologian and priest Bernard Bolzano. The meeting point is at the reception of the Institute of Philosophy of the CAS (Jilská 1, Praha 1). Please arrive on time.
Elías Fuentes Guillén, Ph.D. (Institute of Philosophy, Czech Academy of Sciences) will guide you through the walk.
Elías Fuentes Guillén specializes in the philosophy and history of mathematics. He is the principal investigator of the research project PragMatika, dedicated to the life and work of Bernard Bolzano. He is also a member of the International Bernard Bolzano Society.
