A visit: 150 years of Byram Arcade, Westgate’s Jewel

A special pre-Christmas visit to meet the people, view parts you may never have seen before and to learn about its 150 years of history

Chris Marsden from Huddersfield Civic Society, along with people with businesses based in the arcade, will talk about the history of this fascinating listed historic building, designed by the notable Huddersfield architect WH Crossland, which has been at the heart of Huddersfield for 150 years.

There will also be an opportunity to tour the arcade and perhaps visit some rarely seen nooks and crannies. Byrams Café will remain open for purchasing refreshments.

There is no cost for this event.

Members of Huddersfield Civic Society do NOT need to book to attend.

However, non-members wishing to attend are requested to book a place via Eventbrite.
