Step into the magic of a Victorian Christmas at the McArthur Estate!
The McArthur Family, the Rotary Club of Niagara-on-the-Lake, and the Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum are delighted to host a special evening in support of the Museum’s expansion project, and in celebration of 130 years in the community.
Set against the backdrop of the magnificent 1829 brick Georgian home—immortalized in several of Trisha Romance’s beloved paintings—the McArthur Estate offers 10 acres of enchanting Georgian gardens, intimate outdoor spaces, and timeless holiday charm.
Inside, guests will be welcomed with a seasonal drink and the enchanting sounds of live chamber music by the Soenen Sisters. Wander through both the first and second floors of the home, each adorned with exquisite holiday décor.
Stroll through the illuminated grounds to discover the Beautiful Angel, the Nativity Scene, and festive stops like the Reindeer Stables and Canine Manor, where children can write heartfelt letters to Santa. Young guests will also enjoy Celebrity Storybook Readings including Trisha Romance's, "A Star for Christmas", in the Conservatory, visits with Santa, and special holiday goody bags.
The evening concludes with fireside warmth on the back decks, where guests can savour charcuterie boards and toast the season under the stars.
This event has been made possible by the incredible generosity of the McArthur family. Thank you, McArthur family, for opening your home and your hearts to us all.
Since this is a date-specific charitable event, refunds will not be offered for cancellations. Your donation benefits the Niagara-on-the-Lake Museum. The Museum collects, preserves, researches, promotes, and brings to life the history of Niagara-on-the-Lake and its communities for people of all ages to engage with, learn, and celebrate that history.
