A Very Special Episode is a wildly funny and unsettling literary satire that explores Black television, belonging, and cultural nostalgia.
About this Event

If you're a fan of Black sitcoms, this story will feel like stepping into the familiar worlds of The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, Living Single, Family Matters, and A Different World—only to realize that something isn’t quite right. Camille brilliantly uses that sense of familiarity to explore respectability politics, family legacy, and the tension between ambition and service—all while inviting readers to reflect on how nostalgia shapes not only the way we see the present, but the futures we imagine.
