🎄📚 A Very Merry Blind Date with a Book Exchange! 🎁
A little mystery, a little mischief, and a whole lot of holiday bookish fun!
Calling all book lovers! Grab a book, wrap it up, and get ready for a festive afternoon of surprises, laughter, and a little friendly gift-stealing at Salt & Story!
We’re putting a bookish twist on the classic White Elephant gift exchange, and you’re invited!
📅 Sunday, December 13, 2026
⏰ 2:00–4:00 PM
📍 Salt & Story | 1103-B E. John Sims Parkway, Niceville, FL
🎁 How It Works
Bring ONE wrapped book to participate in our Blind Date with a Book White Elephant Exchange!
📚 The Book: Choose a new or like-new book that you’d be excited to give (or receive!). Any genre is welcome!
🎀 The Wrapping: Wrap your book completely so the title and cover are hidden. Get creative with your wrapping—Christmas paper, brown kraft paper, ribbons, and bows are all welcome!
❤️ The Teaser: Write 2–3 fun clues on the outside of your wrapped book to give everyone a little hint about the story without revealing the title. Include the genre, too!
🎅 The Exchange: We’ll draw numbers and take turns choosing a mystery book or stealing one that’s already been opened. Expect lots of laughs, surprises, and a little holiday mischief!
✨ The Best Part? Everyone goes home with a new-to-them book and maybe even discovers their next favorite read!
🎄 A Few Bookish Rules
* Books must be new or in like-new condition—no damaged, heavily worn, or marked-up copies.
* Please bring a complete, standalone book or the first book in a series.
* Keep the title and author a secret until your book is unwrapped!
* One wrapped book per participant.
Whether you’re a romance reader, thriller lover, fantasy fanatic, or historical fiction enthusiast, this is the perfect way to celebrate the season with fellow book lovers!
🎁 Come for the books, stay for the laughs, and leave with a mystery!
Space is limited, so please RSVP to join the fun!
📚 All I want for Christmas is… just one more book! ❤️💚
