ATTENTION ALL SEWERS, CRAFTERS, AND QUILTERS OF ALL AGES! Have you fallen behind on finishing that special sewing, quilting, or crafting project because of work and or family demands? Do you need some advice on where to take that unfished project? Have you simply run out of space because your project is too big? Then this two-day retreat on Friday and Saturday, February 27-28, 2026 from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM (each day) at Peace Lutheran Church, located at 701 W. 3rd St in Connersville, IN is for you! Bring your sewing machines, supplies, extension cords, your project (s), a packed lunch, and snacks to share with others. You will be provided a workspace (i.e. table, chairs, good lighting), there will be an ironing and cutting station with cutting mat. The kitchen is supplied with coffee pots, refrigerator, stove, microwave, and dishwasher, all the comforts of home. This event is FREE of charge but you do need to reserve a spot by Thursday, February 26th by calling the church office at 765-825-7692. Please leave a message on the answering machine if no one picks up and we will return your call. You can reserve a spot for both days or just one of the two.
In case of severe weather (i.e. ice and or snowstorm), this retreat will be moved to Friday and Saturday, March 6th and 7th at the same times and in the same location.
