Taking place Monday, March 2, 2026, at the iconic Aretha’s Jazz Café, this special tribute highlights the voices, vision, and influence of women who shaped jazz, soul, and American music.Women’s History Month is a time to reflect on the courage, creativity, and cultural impact of women whose contributions transformed music and expanded artistic boundaries.
Through song and storytelling, Covington will honor fearless jazz innovators and soulful storytellers whose artistry continues to inspire generations.Sky Covington, founder of The Preservation of Jazz, is known for her emotionally rich performances and commanding stage presence.
