A Tribute to the music of Cole Porter
About this Event
Cole Porter's songs are noted for witty, urbane lyrics and many became standards, having achieved great success on Broadway and in film. His most successful musical, Kiss Me Kate won the first Tony Award for Best Musical. Jazz Nebula’s Quartet, featuring Kim Szabo (piano and vocals) and John Reid (saxophone, flute, and clarinet), will perform a selection of some of Cole Porter's most well-known songs.
Doors open at 1 pm and the show starts at 2 pm.
ThIs is the fifth concert in a series of six concerts presented by Jazz Nebula at Scarboro United Church for its 2025-26 season (The Great American Songbook, Horace Silver, George Gershwin, The Great Saxophonists, Cole Porter, and Thelonious Monk). See the coloured brochure below for more details.
