Celebrate in a tribute to The Jewels, "The Divas of DC Doo-Wop" as they unveil a commemorative street sign, "The Jewels Way". The unveiling will take place at 3:30p.m. on 13th Street, NW between Upshur and Allison Streets, NW in front of Theodore Roosevelt High School. At 4:00 p.m. following the unveiling, there will be a musical program honoring The Jewels in the Roosevelt High School auditorium. Performing with be the original Jewels with guest vocalist. Presentations by guest speakers.
