A Tribute To Sakia Gunn featuring Author Monika M. Pickett

Red Door presents A Tribute To Sakia Gunn featuring best-selling novelist Monika M. Pickett, hosted by Kevin E. Taylor. The book signing event will be held in Pickett's home state of New Jersey at Qaali's Café.

Fifteen year-old Gunn was killed after she rejected the advances of an older man. She was murdered because, as a young Lesbian, she was not interested. Her freedom to love and choose whom she would love was stolen.

Pickett's Pretty Boy Blue trilogy of novels tells the story of young lesbian, Nikki Blue, and shares her testament of perseverance, faith, audacity and love. You will be forever changed once you meet Nikki.
