About the band Orquesta Classica
Musician and bandleader Joe Hernandez has made his mark in SW Florida with his incredible Salsa band, Orquesta Classica, whose music is based on old-school Salsa Dura. He has previously worked with nationally renowned artists such as Richie Ray, Eddie “Gua Gua” Rivera and Ernie Agosto among others. They are often sought after for festivals, dances, and night clubs. With a repertoire that includes over 300 salsa arrangements, they will proudly pay tribute to Hector LaVoe. You will definitely enjoy this throwback to the heyday of Salsa, with Joe Hernandez and Orquesta Classica as their motto is “Old school salsa with a Touch of Class”.
Your emcee and DJ for the evening will be Nancy Alonso. She is known as “The First Lady of Salsa”, an on-air celebrity for over 18 years and also co-founder and Program Director of Salsa Empire Radio, an internet salsa radio station.
* Reserve seating at a table in the ballroom
* Doors open at 5 pm (Happy Hour)
* Free Salsa Beginner Dance Lesson 5:30pm to 6:00 pm
* DJ starts playing salsa from 6:00 to 7 pm.
* Performance 7:00 pm to 10 pm.
* EMCEE and band breaks by DJ Nancy Alonso"The First Lady of Salsa".
All in an upscale dinner theater, Cape Cabaret in Cape Coral, FL.
