It's widely acknowledged that Mt. Etna has become the most important wine region in Sicily, and one of the most important in all of Italy, but what's most remarkable about Etna's story is just how recently this situation has developed.
The combination of ancient vineyards, old families, and new talent has produced some of the most exciting activity in the wine world in the last two decades, and we are currently reaping the benefits in the form of uniquely delicious and vibrant wines that express their origins with thrilling eloquence.
During this tasting, we will explore the varied expressions of this striking volcanic terroir through the wines of four of the pioneering estates that helped bring about this renaissance.
The wines will be served alongside a spread of seasonal bites.
