About this Event

You're about to embark on a journey through time, to experience Anoka's history inside a home that evolved along with the town. Built in 1867, nine years after Minnesota became a State, Ticknor Hill stood one third of its size on three times of its land. Through those same doorways, passing the same bannister, you'll step in the footsteps of the people who built libraries, ran drug stores, and ate a sandwich under a tree.

We cannot guarantee your tour will take you to the bed and breakfast rooms on the second floor, as they may be occupied by guests. If this is the case, we have images for you to enjoy (or a nights stay of your own to make!)
