About this Event
The City of New Westminster’s Brewery District has a rich history of breweries going as far back as 1879 when the first brewery was established. Today, it is a nine-acre, master-planned, transit-oriented community located across from Sapperton SkyTrain Station, Royal Columbian Hospital, and home to TransLink’s headquarters.
Join co-leads, Rupinder Basi and Graham Brewster, and PIBC’s South Coast Chapter for a tour of Brewery District. Learn how the City of New Westminster and Wesgroup guided the transformation of a brownfield heritage site into a vibrant, mixed-use community. (1.5 CPL units).
Following the walking tour, attendees have the option to socialize at Brown's Socialhouse.
