A Time to Gather: Celebrating Lucy and Sharing Stories of God's Faithfulness

Have you been following Lucy's story? Have you been praying? Have you had doubts? Have you had hopes? We are inviting you and everyone who would like to join us at Langford Park in St. Anthony Park (St. Paul) to rejoice, express thankfulness, and say, "Yay, God!" as we reflect on the journey of Lucy's hospitalization that started in January and on her ongoing diagnosis.
For those who would like to come from 4:30-5:30 to visit, eat a picnic dinner (bring your own--dessert will be provided), or let the kids run off some energy at the playground, this hour is for that. If you prefer, come at 5:30 for a time of singing, planned sharing from some specific folks, and open microphone for anyone who has something to share about their experience of this journey. The Shaws have requested that this not be a place to elevate or focus on them--but to hear stories of what you witnessed or learned during this trying time.
Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
We are asking for your help asap. Planning even a simple event such as this requires reservations through the park system and planning for a number of details with that process. Can you RSVP to our invitation as a yes or maybe?
