We’re bringing something a little different to the table on May 18.Join us for a six-course tasting experience where each dish is paired with two wines. Your job is simple. Taste, compare, and decide which pairing works best.
You’ll keep score throughout the night, and at the end we’ll reveal the winning wines.
Leading the evening are two seasoned wine experts:
Kristin Pennington has over 20 years in hospitality and has spent the last 13 years focused on wine. From passing her Level 1 sommelier exam at 25 to running her own import and distribution company, she’s built strong relationships with winemakers around the world and brings a deep understanding of the industry to the table.
Douglas Sutherland, owner of The People’s Kitchen, has over 22 years in the hospitality industry. His approach to food and wine is shaped by his upbringing on a family farm and his experience working with some of Greater Lansing’s most respected restaurants and wine programs.
Together, they’ll guide you through each course, each pairing, and maybe challenge what you thought you knew about wine.
