Over two hours, you’ll have the chance to savour a curated selection of tastes and flavours from Halifax and around the world, as well as learning about the market’s rich history, dating from the Victorian era to the present day.

• 2 Hour Guided Market Tour: Your market tour guide will take you on a journey through the market’s history and its impact on the town of Halifax, and share with you mouth-wateringly good food stories from both past and present.
• 4 Suprise Food & Drink Stops: Sample a curated selection of vegerarian treats, including two sit down tasting stops. The food varies on each tour but may include: artisanal cheeses, homemade baked goods, award-winning pies, American diner style small plates, authentic Asian food, tasty plant-based dishes, and delicious drinks from around the world.
• Meet Local Traders: Chat with vendors and stall owners, hearing firsthand about their craft, recipes, and the stories behind their business.
• Small Group Experience: Limited to 10 guests for a more personal and interactive tour.

• The tour will start at 1.30pm promptly. Please arrive at least 5 minutes beforehand.
• There will be vegetarian options and at least one vegan option on this tour.

• There will be some walking involved, both indoor and outdoors, please wear comfortable footwear and appropriate clothing for the weather.
• Please bring your own bottle of water with you. Drinks are available to buy on the tour if preferred.
