According to Forbes.com, nearly 300,000 Black women have exited the workforce in just the last 3 months, whether by choice or by force. The job market is shifting at a rapid speed and the side hustle culture has become less of a luxury and more of a necessity. Whether black women are choosing to walk away from a position or have been given no option and removed, we are facing a monumental moment in history. Now, more than ever, we must be creative, intentional, and united in raising our consciousness, honoring the Divine Feminine and dismantling the systemic barriers that attempt to hold us back.

A Taste of Freedom is more than a wellness event, it is a shift in the regularly scheduled programming and the first of many more to come. This tech-free event invites you to step away from the daily hustle and bustle of life and step into a safe, sacred space curated for and by Black women.

Through connection, creativity, and conversation we will explore what freedom truly means for us - not just as individuals but also as a collective ready to challenge the status quo. This gathering is the first of many designed to close the wealth gap for Black women in Georgia by building community, providing education, and advocating for change.
