About this Event
The Black Arts Museum presents A Tapestry of Black Artisans II at The Box Theatre in downtown Riverside, Saturday, May 16th from 12 noon to 3 p.m. Doors open at 11:30 a.m.
This promises to be an afternoon of family entertainment by gifted African American Riversiders, including:
.. Ms. Toochi Samsylvanus, 16 years-old 1st place winner of San Bernardino County and runner-up of State of CA Poetry Out Loud high school competitions.
.. Dancer/choreographer and UC Irvine dance major, Jennifer Hernandez-Colin.
.. Mychal Henry & THE MjDD PRO BAND, professional singers and musicians of Riverside.
Designed to bring the community together for entertainment, food, and connection, the price of admission includes stellar performances, lunch on the patio, sponsor vendors, raffle opportunities, and giveaways.
Your support of The Black Arts Museum, endorses and celebrates African American creatives in the Inland Empire; and allows the BAM to bring additional programming and events like this to a wider audience throughout the year.
