A talk on PROSTOR and Croatian Glassmaking Heritage
About this Event
Join Culture Hub Croatia and KEEP Brooklyn at UrbanGlass on Tuesday, October 20th for an evening of cultural and knowledge exchange focused on the future of glassmaking.
The discussion will introduce Culture Hub Croatia: a platform for Education, Creativity and Development through Culture, its creative hub PROSTOR, and the European Creative Hubs Network, while exploring Croatia’s glassmaking heritage and the challenges facing the field today.
Looking at contemporary glass studios, residencies, workshops and education programs, we’ll consider how successful models from New York and beyond could be adapted into future programming at PROSTOR - supporting artist mobility, skills development, collaboration, and emerging makers.
Join us for a conversation about building stronger connections between glass communities in Croatia and New York.
This event is supported by the European Creative Hubs Network in the framework of the International Peer Creation Program.
