Born and raised in a remote Devonshire village, Colin Bostock-Smith made his
way to London and became a legendary comedy writer whose credits included
Not The Nine O’Clock News, The Two Ronnies, Spitting Image, Rowan Atkinson,
Tim Brooke-Taylor, David Jason, a BAFTA winning Clive James programme and
many others.
Moving more recently to deepest East Sussex with his partner Ruth, he has
turned to writing novels about crime and passion in a remote Devonshire
village.
Five of them to be exact: Sting of the Nettle, An Unkind Harvest, The Man
who Walked with Goats, The Bones Beneath the Brambles and To Die in a
Ditch.
