About this Event
Exercise advice often assumes unlimited time, energy, and recovery. In midlife when work, caregiving, stress, menopause, and changes in bone and muscle health all converge, that model can start to break down.
This interactive workshop offers a thoughtful reframe of what exercise is for in midlife and how to make it sustainable over the long term. Participants will reflect on what has and hasn’t worked in the past, learn how hormonal changes and aging affect recovery and bone density, and explore exercise strategies that can improve energy, build strength, and protect long-term health.
Rather than prescribing a one-size-fits-all program, this session focuses on helping people think more clearly about exercise choices and evaluate what actually fits their current lives. Participants will leave with practical frameworks they can use to build an approach to exercise that supports strength, capacity, energy, and consistency through changing seasons of life.
No fitness background required.

Meet Our Presenter
Jenn Baudreau is a Certified Personal Trainer and the owner of Perennial Power LLC, a Vermont-based coaching practice focused on helping people in midlife build strength, protect bone health, and stay energetic and capable as they age. She works primarily with adults balancing full-time work, parenting, and caregiving who want an exercise practice that supports their lives rather than adding stress.
Jenn holds a Master’s degree in Teaching & Learning from Colorado State University and spent over a decade as a high school teacher, developing deep skill in assessment, communication, and meeting people with diverse needs where they are. She later spent another decade working in technology, leading teams and managing complex projects. Together, these experiences shape her facilitation-focused, evidence-based approach to coaching, with an emphasis on clear frameworks, thoughtful progression, and long-term sustainability.
