As part of our National Year of Reading programme, we are delighted to announce a very special evening with bestselling authors Elly Griffiths and Mark Billingham.
Compass theatre, Ickenham

Elly and Mark will be discussing their latest books.
Elly Griffiths is also known for her Ruth Galloway series, the Brighton Mysteries, and standalone novels such as The Stranger Diaries, which won the Edgar Award for Best Novel. She has received the CWA Dagger in the Library Award and the Mary Higgins Clark Award, and lives in Brighton, England
Mark Billingham is an English actor, comedian, novelist, and television screenwriter best known for his award-winning Tom Thorne crime novel series. A former stand-up and TV performer, he debuted as a novelist with Sleepyhead in 2001 and has since published numerous bestsellers, including standalones and the DS Declan Miller series. His works have been adapted for television, and in 2026 he received the CWA Diamond Dagger for his contribution to crime fiction.
