We are so happy to welcome back Sound Healer, Amy Ordonez for an evening of sound healing in the library. Let the ancient voices of gongs, the shimmering tones of singing bowls, and the haunting beauty of the Native American flute carry you inward. These live, acoustic instruments create waves of healing sound that invite deep relaxation, inner spaciousness, and a gentle sense of return — to yourself, to the present, and to the magic of simply being. Please bring a yoga mat, blanket, or cushion to rest on. Chairs will be available for those who prefer to sit. Wear comfortable clothing and bring anything that helps you feel cozy and at ease. Patrons will be able to play a gong and a singing bowl. Registration is required. She enjoyed being a docent at the Wadsworth Atheneum for many years. She is a Sound Healer adept in creating a calming a peaceful space that allows for your own body to heal. Amy has over 350 hours of sound training with some of the best players in North America, including being accepted into the prestigious 9ways Academia program in 2024. She has been invited to play gongs in France in June 2025 with 25 other musicians from around the world.
